A Few Good Mentors, Inc. (AFGM) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization designed to embody the principles of a Christian man. Mentors are committed to helping meet the needs of youth and young adult men in the Hampton Roads (HRC) area, as well as other surrounding municipalities, through one-on-one mentoring. This is accomplished by mentors conducting themselves with integrity and dependability, while providing quality time and service to individuals they mentor.
AFGM believes that everyone, especially young males, can benefit from a mentor to help navigate through life. Mentors will meet in-person/virtually with their assigned mentees a minimum of one-hour weekly. The goal is for mature men to help younger males develop into mature men.
We believe that it is our responsibility to support our local community. We have several activities and events that we sponsor throughout the year. Your donation will go to support A Few Good Mentors, Inc., the organization as a whole, AFGM HRC operations, and the scholarships that AFGM provides to high school seniors, college students, and trade school students.
